The Technology department consists of two workshops and a Systems room.
In Technology students learn how to problem solve and design solutions by exploring how electronic and mechanical systems work. They then make their projects using the equipment in the workshops, and will learn to shape plastics, woods and metals. When the projects are completed the students can then bring them home.
Technology and Design is compulsory in Key Stage 3, and is optional for GCSE and A Level. Construction GCSE and Engineering A level are also taught in the department.
